ISLAMABAD: A woman from Sanghar District has accused that a former KDA public health engineer Ram Chand threatened to kill her.
Sonia Murree, a resident of Karachi claimed that she has been involved with the former officer in illicit relations. He started to threaten to kill her when she demanded to marry him, she added.
Sonia Murree further revealed that she met Ram Chand six years ago, he was an engineer from Sanghar then. We were involved in illicit activities. He told me that he would marry me and convert into a Muslim at the proper time, she added.
She said that he continued to physically use her for two years. He even bought a flat in the Jauhar area, she added. “Meanwhile, Ram Chand Chand had become the Chief Engineer and later retired and left me,” She claimed.
Murree said that he refused when she asked her to marry, but he was threatening now to kill her if she did not stay silent.
She revealed that she secretly arrived in Islamabad as she was afraid to get killed if she protest in Karachi. Murree has demanded justice for her.
“I would appeal to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Sindh, Governor Sindh and other rulings in this regard as well, “ she said.
