Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted widespread rain with thunderstorms across the country for three days.
The PMD further stated that the rain could affect the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches that are being played in Rawalpindi and Lahore as a strong westerly weather system had entered the upper parts of the country and likely to grip upper and central parts.
The rain is expected in all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad and Narowal districts.
Moreover, PMD has also predicted dust raising winds and drizzle under the influence of a fresh westerly wave in lower Sindh including Karachi from today till tomorrow.
