Adam Sandler has returned as Nick Spitz, a cop who has hung up traditional police work with his wife Audrey, played by Jennifer Aniston; together they become crime solvers.
Their life as private crime solvers for a fee is a big struggle until the real action of ‘murder mystery’ kicks in when the couple is invited by their acquaintance Maharajah (he was also in part one) to invite them to his lavish wedding on his private island.
Audrey and Nick who are the outsiders in a foreign land once again enjoy the big fat Indian wedding and that’s the groom gets kidnapped and the mystery begins.

The highlight of the movie that had everyone’s hearts was a desi wedding, a group dancing to Bollywood songs, shimmery traditional dresses, a groom’s entrance on an elephant, a view from the Eiffel Tower, and a beautiful Island view from Audrey and Nick’s room. Last but not least Jennifer Aniston donned a stunning Manish Malhotra designer lehenga.
Same as the first installation, ‘Murder Mystery 2’ sets up a group of suspects under radar of Maharaja being kidnapped but unlike its title, the mystery was there with no murder.
In short ‘Murder Mystery 2’ is no different comedy thriller but if you’re a Sandler-Aniston fan, you would love to watch it.
