Sanam Teri Kasam was released in 2016, while its sequel is set to release next Valentine’s Day in 2026, as confirmed by media reports on Tuesday.
According to a report, the filmmakers have started to reveal significant updates about the release of Sanam Teri Kasam 2. Film directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru shared the updates with fans about the sequel.
Surprisingly, Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is nearly ready, and the filmmakers have decided to release it next year, 2026, as revealed during an interview with India Forums. According to the report, the film’s sequel was already planned to be released soon.
They explained that the second part was hinted at the end of the first film, where the hero approached a tree with the voice of Saru (Mawra Hocane) echoing in the background. This scene was crafted on purpose to pave the way for Sanam Teri Kasam 2.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of Mawra Hocane in Sanam Teri Kasam 2. As a result, she has been replaced by another actress, probably Indian, but the filmmakers have not revealed her name yet. Since the current year’s Valentine’s Day has not yet passed, Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is at least a year away.

Earlier, Sanam Teri Kasam, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, initially received mixed reviews but gained a cult following over time. The film was re-released in February and has surpassed its original box office collection, proving to be tough competition for newly released films like Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar.
