Kubra Aykut was a Turkish social media influencer famous for her ‘Wedding without a Groom’ videos. The 26-year-old Aykut allegedly committed suicide by falling from the fifth floor of an Istanbul apartment, last week.
Authorities discovered a suicide note at the scene. Her recent social media posts had alarmed followers, prompting discussions on mental health and the pressures of online fame.
According to reports, she allegedly committed suicide on September 23, however, her death is currently being investigated.

Her last message on social media read: “I’ve gathered my energy, but I can’t seem to gain weight. I lose a kilogram every day. I don’t know what to do; I urgently need to gain weight.”
Fans had shown concern after the post, which was written hours before her death. She had a million followers on TikTok as well as large followings on YouTube and Instagram.
Her final TikTok video showed her cleaning her apartment, which alarmed her followers after the news of her death broke.
