Faysal Quraishi, who has been working in the drama industry for more than thirty years, recently revealed how he rejected the drama serial ‘Humsafar’, which later on became a huge hit in Pakisatn and India as well.
In Fourth Umpire Show which is hosted by Fahad Mustafa, Faysal Quraishi was asked if there is any script that the actor left and became a superhit afterward. In response, the Bashar Momin actor replied, “I did not reject but I left a script which I thought was an Urban version of ‘Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan’, it was Humsafar.

He added that maybe it would have not been this much hit if he would have done it. “It created an amazing combination of Fawad, Mahira and Sarmad. Apart from that, I refused Udaari”, he said,
Faysal Quraishi was offered Humsafar and Udaari, which he refused. He said that he refused Udaari because he couldn’t think of an intense character like Imtiaz of Udaari. Both Udaari and Humsafar later became huge hits, which were first offered to Faysal.
Moreover, he also gave his opinion about a few ace Pakistani actors regarding their dancing skills. To the question about which of the actors dances well. Faysal was given options of Goher Rasheed, Osman Khalid Butt, or Mohsin Abbas Haider?.
According to Quraishi, he was unaware of all the names. “None of them know how to dance well”, he maintained.
