WhatsApp is set to introduce a redesigned message actions menu for Android users, aiming to provide a cleaner and more intuitive chatting experience that closely mirrors the iOS interface.
The updated design replaces the existing workflow with a contextual menu that appears directly beside a selected message. This allows users to quickly access commonly used options such as Reply, Forward, Copy, and Delete from a single compact panel, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple interface layers.
To reduce on-screen clutter, less frequently used features have been moved into a dedicated “More” section, while essential actions remain easily accessible.
Previously, Android users had to switch between different interface areas, with some options located in the top app bar and others hidden within secondary menus, making the process less streamlined.
With the new update, all message-related actions are consolidated in one place, offering a more seamless and user-friendly experience.
Users will be able to access the feature through the familiar method of long-pressing a message, after which the redesigned menu will appear instantly beside it without requiring any additional steps.
The update also brings improved consistency between WhatsApp’s Android and iOS versions, creating a more unified user experience across platforms.
According to reports, the redesigned message menu will be available in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.26.23.8, with a wider rollout expected in the coming months.
