Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated final season of “You”, set to premiere next month. The psychological thriller follows Joe Goldberg, a charming yet dangerous man whose obsession with love leads him down a dark and twisted path.
Based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel, “You” explores Joe’s unsettling fixation on the women he encounters. Using social media and technology to infiltrate their lives, he convinces himself that his actions—manipulation, stalking, and even murder—are justified by love and protection.
For its fifth and final season, the series returns to New York City, where the story first began. This setting holds significance not only for the character, as Joe revisits familiar places like Mooney’s bookstore, but also for lead actor Penn Badgley, who resides in the city with his family.
Filming at Silvercup Studios in Queens allowed him to reconnect with his past roles, adding another layer of nostalgia to the show’s gripping conclusion.
