A video allegedly showing the former head of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Brigadier (rtd) Imtiaz Ahmed, being forcibly evicted from his home by his son is circulating on Facebook.
The video depicts police officers arguing with him and apparently forcing him to leave his home.
In the video, Brigadier (rtd) Imtiaz, who appears elderly and ill and is dressed in a white salwar kameez, is seen pleading with a police officer to show him the eviction order. His wife is also visible in the video, arguing with the police officers.
Facebook users accompanying the video with comments claim that Brigadier (rtd) Imtiaz was forcibly evicted from his home by his son. They highlight his past as a powerful figure involved in conspiracies against various governments, including that of Benazir Bhutto, and suggest that he is now facing retribution in his old age as his son allegedly throws him out while he is ill.
The authenticity of the video has not yet been confirmed.
