Islamabad: A picture being circulated online of a woman behind bars is not the wife of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill’s driver and assistant Izhar, Islamabad Police said in a statement.

The viral picture features a woman from at least three years back.
The picture was widely circulated with different captions on Twitter and several other social media websites.
Islamabad police said old picture of some other province is being circulated to incite people.
“Men and women are equal before the law, and it doesn’t discriminate on the basis of gender,” The police said “Collaborators will be dealt as per the law.” The police added.
