CALIFORNIA: Facebook has reportedly been launching a feature ‘Pronunciation’ where users will be paid by recording their voice.
According to the report from The Verge, Facebook through its ViewPoint research app would reward people for participating in social media surveys.
Facebook will give 200 points to the user for each voice record, and for achieving 1000 points, the users get $ 5.
Although one user will be able to make only $5, an interesting approach by Facebook to improve its artificial intelligence-driven transcription skills.
Facebook had assured that these recordings will not be linked to users’ profiles and will not be shared on any Facebook property without the user’s consent.
Facebook will launch the project in the United States, and let the people participate between the age from 18 to 75.
