A US-based woman, Rosanna Marina Gabrielle, travelled to Khewra, Pakistan, to turn a friendship formed on Facebook into a lifelong relationship, where she married local resident Adil Shehzad.
According to details, Rosanna Marina Gabrielle and Adil Shehzad, a resident of Khewra, first met through social media around three years ago.
Their friendship gradually developed into a deep romantic relationship.
Upon arriving in Pakistan, the American woman embraced Islam and married Adil Shehzad in a nikah ceremony.
The couple expressed their happiness at the wedding as they began their new life together.
High Court lawyer Rizwan Anwar Malik recorded Rosanna Marina Gabrielle’s legal statement before a magistrate, following which the necessary documentation was completed.
