KARACHI: United States Ambassador Donald Blome has said that the US is Pakistan’s largest bilateral trade partner, and is committed to promoting strong bilateral relations, trade, and investment with Pakistan.
US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome visited Karachi to cement a strong bilateral economic partnership through the US-Pakistan ‘Green Alliance’.
US Ambassador Donald Blome and Consul General met Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and other political, business, and civil society leaders at the 247th Independence Day celebrations.
In the meeting with the Chief Minister, Donald Blome discussed the opportunities to expand Pakistan-US trade and economic partnership and other common priorities.
In his meetings with the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry, American Business Council, and other industry leaders, the US Ambassador said that he is committed to promoting bilateral trade and investment.

Donald Blome said that the US is Pakistan’s largest bilateral trading partner and one of Pakistan’s largest sources of foreign direct investment.
The US Ambassador also visited the Joint Maritime Information Command Center and met the Commander of COM Coast, Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, in the meeting, it was agreed to advance common goals for maritime peace and stability in the region.
US Ambassador Donald Blome also observed the exercise that started at the Naval Academy on the occasion of his visit to Karachi.
