WASHINGTON: The United States has imposed sanctions on 4 companies that are globally renowned for supporting Pakistan’s ballistic missile program.
According to the report of Independent Urdu, the State Department in Washington said in its ongoing statement that the United States has imposed sanctions on 3 Chinese and 1 Belarusian company, alleging that the four organizations are responsible for the delivery of weapons of mass destruction.
According to the report, the US State Department, citing Executive Order No. 13382, said in a statement that the four agencies provided equipment for Pakistan’s ballistic missile programs, including the long-range missile program.
According to the State Department statement, the sanctioned entities include Belarus’ Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, Chinese companies Longxian Technology, Tianjin Creative Source, and Greenpact Company, which were involved in the proliferation and delivery of weapons of mass destruction.
According to the statement, the Belarus-based Wheel Tractor Plant worked to provide special vehicle chassis to Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, the Chinese company Long Xian provided related equipment to the long-range missile program, while other companies also provided similar equipment.
