The character of the candy maker named ‘Willy Wonka’ will entertain is all set to entertain in an upcoming movie ‘Wonka’.
Played by Dunk actor Timothee Chalamet, ‘Wonka’ is set before the 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The film will release on December 15. The newly released trailer shows Willy Wonka talking about how he has travelled the world for seven years to learn all about chocolate before landing in a fictional town in Europe.
As he dreams of owning a chocolate shop in the city, he is warned of being crushed by the chocolate cartel and he could not own a shop without selling chocolate but the problem is that he can’t sell chocolate without owning a shop.

Written by King and Simon Farnaby, Wonka is a prequel to the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which in turn was based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
Besides Timothée Chalamet who plays the titular role of Willy Wonka, the movie also stars Calah Lane as a girl named Noodle alongside Olivia Colman, Rowan Atkinson, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Paterson Joseph, Natasha Rothwell, Jim Carter, Sally Hawkins, and Hugh Grant (as an Oompa Loompa) in supporting roles.
