KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman has said that three of his party’s Assembly members have been abducted since last night in Karachi.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman alleged that three members of his party members in the Sindh Assembly had been missing since yesterday. “We fear they have been abducted,” he said.
Khurram Sherzaman further said, “The families of MPAs are also worried, we have informed all the institutions and registered complaints,” he added. This alarming situation has arisen while fake FIRs have been made against PTI workers he said.
The PTI leader said that a video statement of an MPA Karim Bakhsh Gabol has come to light and he has been put under pressure. “We are sure Karim Bakhsh Gabol is at the moment under pressure and the other two MPAs are also not contacting us. We are sure that this whole game belongs to the PPP,” he alleged.
He said they have informed the Prime Minister about all the circumstances in Sindh. Regarding the court verdict, the PTI leader termed the opinion a wonderful decision and a ‘triumph for Pakistan’.
“Opposition parties are busy in the purchase and sale of the assembly members in Sindh and other provinces. We will take legal action against those who are found guilty in floor crossing,” PTI Sher Zaman said.
He said that his government has approached the apex court to prevent corruption and bribery practices. “We are consulting with leadership and legal team and action will be taken against those lawmakers who change party loyalty,” the PTI leader added.
