Amal-e-Danish school, located in Karachi, is providing affordable education for children from underprivileged backgrounds for a meager fee of ONE RUPEE. This school provides English medium quality education so that the children can fulfill their dreams.
The aim of this organization was to increase literacy in Pakistan by offering basic education to the illiterate masses. The school also runs classes for parents and offers loans to help them obtain qualifications.
Talking to M.M News, its founder, Parveen Rao, said that the cost preserves the children’s dignity and self-esteem, preventing them from seeing themselves as charity cases in a country where even government educational institutions charge substantial fees.
