On the fervent desire of the people of Sukkur, Sindh Government Spokesperson and Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh has announced that Arshad Nadeem will be awarded a gold crown and that the new sports stadium in Sukkur will be named in his honor to celebrate his remarkable achievement.
Barrister Sheikh has extended an invitation to Arshad Nadeem to visit Sukkur, where he will be presented with the gold crown upon arrival.
He highlighted that Arshad Nadeem’s record-breaking performance has made every Pakistani proud. “He has given a beautiful gift to Pakistan with the prayers of our mothers and sisters and the entire nation,” Barrister Sheikh said.
Previously, the Sindh government announced a Rs50 million reward for the athlete, while the Governor of Sindh separately awarded Rs2 million to Arshad Nadeem. Additionally, a private TV channel owner has announced a property for Nadeem in DHA City, and an actress has pledged one million rupees to the national hero.
