When I was a child, when I used to read anti-smoking articles, a verse would always come up in the study:
It does not come off from the mouth of unbeliever.
However, few people know the fact that a genius poet like Ibrahim Zouk said these words were not for cigarettes but for drinking alcohol. And if you look at the meaning of Dakhtar-e-Riz in the dictionary, it comes out as the daughter of grapes, which means wine.
If we want to understand in the simplest terms, the rich poet of Urdu explained to us that we should refrain from eating haram. Some such thoughts arose in the minds of the citizens of Karachi yesterday when a 4-storey building under construction in Surjani Town suddenly collapsed late at night.
The collapse of the building was no less than an apocalypse because 11 workers were buried under its debris, one of whom met the real creator during treatment. According to the police statement, residential flats were being constructed in a 4-storey building.
Reportedly, 15 to 16 workers were living in this building. When the injured persons were identified, it was found that their names were Muhammad Salim, Nasir, Rashid, Sagheer, Qayyum, Briam, Amir and Akash.
A similar incident took place in Musa Colony area of Karachi last month, as a result of which there was no loss of life. The cause of the fall was said to be the use of poor materials. Officials said that action will be taken against the officers who passed the map of the building.
If all the facts are put before it, it is found that despite the claims of the government and the efforts of the law enforcement agencies, the work of making Karachi a concrete jungle is going on vigorously, in which builders and SBCs are constructing buildings with poor materials. Bribery officers of A and other related institutions are in front.
It is necessary that the Pakistani nation should start considering bribery as a curse and strict legislation against bribe takers as well as implementation should be ensured. In which builders who build buildings with poor materials and corrupt officers of SBCA and other related institutions are at the forefront.
