Being a millennial, watching ‘The Romantics’ series that recently landed on Netflix is a treat for the eye.
Based on the YRF filmography, a four-episode documented series is so far the greatest series Netflix can ever create as it’s a line-up of around 40 Bollywood actors in a single frame.
Directed by Smriti Mundra, Netflix’s The Romantics celebrates the origins and legacy of Yash Chopra and Yash Raj Films. The series takes us through the YRF filmography by interviewing perhaps the greatest line-up of collective Bollywood stardom in a documentary project of this kind.
There are almost 40 of them. Included are the three Khans, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji.

It also includes the newer generation of stars like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmaan Khurana, and Bhumi Pednekar. The series also features the late Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.
If you’re born in the 80s or 90s, believe me, the series will take you down memory lane. Inshort, The Romantics gives a brief theatrical experience with a roller coaster ride of emotions.
