Actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who portrayed the role of Beth Harmon as a chess genius in The Queen’s Gambit has revealed the possibility of another season of the Netflix series.
The actress expressed happiness that it’s so surreal and very wonderful that people want a second season as she never thought about it. There was no discussion about it, she maintained.

Taylor-Joy also earned herself Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globe Awards nominations through the hit show. The Queen’s Gambit amassed 62 million viewing households around the world in its first 28 days, becoming the streamer’s most watched limited series ever.
Netflix pointed out that Walter Tevin’s 1983 novel upon which The Queen’s Gambit is based has re-entered the New York Times bestsellers list, while people are showing a renewed interest in chess for the first time in years.
