KARACHI: Gold and silver prices recorded a significant decline in Pakistan’s local bullion markets on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, with the price of one tola of gold falling by Rs800.According to the rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 800 per tola to Rs465,336. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs686 to Rs398,950.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs629, reaching Rs365,717.
Silver prices also fell in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver decreased by Rs50 per tola to Rs7,129, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs43 to Rs6,111.
Gold prices also declined in the international market. Global gold prices fell by $8 to $4,428 per ounce, while silver prices decreased by 50 cents to $66.50 per ounce.
