Heat will continue in Karachi today, however, the Meteorological Department has predicted a drop in temperature from tomorrow.
According to the details, the maximum temperature in Karachi today will be 39 to 41 degrees Celsius. During the day the temperature can reach 45 to 46 degree Celsius. The meteorological department said that the intensity of heat will decrease from tomorrow.
According to the forecast of the meteorological department, today is the last day of a heat wave in Karachi. Partly cloudy forecast from tomorrow. The maximum temperature will be 34 to 36 degrees.
Weather will remain hot and humid in most parts of the country. There is a possibility of severe heat in the southern regions.
During the last 24 hours, Jacobabad was the hottest place where the temperature was 50 degree Celsius. Bhakkar, Bahawalnagar and Mohenjo Daro recorded 47 degrees Celsius, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dadu and Khanpur 49 degrees Celsius, Lasbela and Sibi recorded 48 degrees Celsius.
Today, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it will remain cloudy in the federal capital Islamabad and its surroundings. Gusts and squalls are also possible, while there is a chance of thundershowers at a few places. Heat intensity may persist in most parts of the country.
