Section 144 has been implemented as Karachi Inter exams have started today.
Around 180 centers have been set up to conduct the examination for the students of Inter. According to a report by private TV (ARY News), 26 examination centers across the city have been declared sensitive, while Rangers personnel have been assigned to perform security duties. 2 shifts of morning and evening have been kept for inter exams.
1,39,000 students will participate in the Inter exams in Shahr-i-Quaid, pre-engineering, pre-medical, and home economics in the morning while students of the general science group will take the exam in the evening shift.
Today, on the Saturday morning shift, class 12th English (compulsory) paper will be held, while the physics exam will be conducted from the same class in the evening shift. Section 144 has been implemented around the examination centers.
According to the reports that came out 3 days ago on May 29, the matriculation board exams which were postponed due to the heat wave have also started. Recently, the exams were postponed due to the rising temperatures in Karachi.
