The 28-year-old accused was also sitting in the Itikaaf in the same mosque where he committed the crime. The 13-year-old  victim told the police that the accused took him to his bed at night and molested him, the accused put his hand on his mouth due to which he could not make any noise.

A case of rape has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the victim’s father.

It is worth mentioning here that the prayer leaders and administrators of mosques urge not to allow young boys to participate in Itikaaf. However, a large number of teenagers still observe this worship every year.
