The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has forecasted the birth of the Muharram 1447 Hijri moon.
According to SUPARCO, there is a strong national possibility that the moon will be sighted on the evening of June 26.
In its statement, SUPARCO indicated that the first of Muharram is expected to fall on June 27. The crescent is anticipated to be born on June 25 at 3:32 PM local time.
By sunset on June 26, the age of the moon will be approximately 28 hours and 15 minutes. In coastal areas, the expected duration between sunset and moonset will be around 75 minutes.
This 75-minute window is considered highly favorable for moon sighting, according to the spokesperson.
