KARACHI: The weather in the provincial capital provided much needed relief from the recent humid weather as heavy rains lashed different parts of Karachi on Tuesday afternoon, inundating low-lying areas and roads a day after light drizzle hit the metropolis.
Heavy rain was reported from Korangi industrial area, Defense, Saddar, I. I. Chundrigar Road, Bolton Market, Clifton, Site Area, Nazimabad, and Orangi, Gulistan-e-Johar, North Karachi, Surjani Town, Gadap Town, National Highway, Bahria Town, Malir, Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Few areas have also been inundated as per the latest reports.
