Rawalpindi: In the first test of two match series, Sri Lanka has declared first innings at 308/6 against Pakistan.
The Rawalpindi Test was heading towards a draw when Sri Lankan skipper declared the innings after 308/6.

Dhananjaya de Silva scored his sixth Test century, He was just 13 runs away at the start of day’s play to score the century.
Earlier, Day 3 and 4 of test match were abandoned without being bowled due to heavy rain in the city.
However, the weather forecast for Day 5 looks promising as it is expected to be sunny all day long.
The second Test is scheduled in Karachi from December 19.
The Test is the first in Pakistan since a militant attack on the Sri Lankan team bus killed eight people in March 2009.
