Graham Dingo Dinkelman, a popular South African YouTuber and conservationist known for his thrilling wildlife videos, has passed away following a venomous snake bite. Often compared to the late Steve Irwin for his fearless approach to wildlife, Dinkelman tragically succumbed after an Eastern green mamba bite, which left him in a month-long coma due to anaphylactic shock.
His wife, Kirsty, announced the sad news on social media, highlighting Dinkelman’s devotion to both his family and his passion for animals. “Dingo’s greatest joy was having his family work closely with him,” she wrote. Dinkelman is survived by his wife and three children: Taylor, 14, Maddy, 12, and Rex, 9.
Through his YouTube channel, Dinkelman entertained and educated his audience, often seen handling snakes, working with crocodiles, and interacting with the family’s giraffe. Recently, he launched a new family-centered series called “The Dinkelmans,” which had quickly gained traction, nearing 4,000 subscribers.
With a large following across social media, Dinkelman was an influential voice in conservation, admired for his commitment to reptiles and African wildlife. His passing is a profound loss for both the wildlife community and his many fans around the world.
