QUETTA: Pakistan army soldier was martyred on Wednesday as terrorists opened fire on a security forces’ post in District Kech, Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Sepoy Muhammad Qaiser embraced martyrdom during firing exchange as terrorists attacked a security post. The military press wing reported that troops responded promptly where the area is being searched to hunt down perpetrators of the incident.
In another incident on Wednesday, a soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred when terrorists fired at a military post in Thall area of Hangu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ISPR added that the troops initiated a “prompt response and effectively engaged” the terrorists’ location. During the exchange of fire, Sepoy Waqas embraced martyrdom.
The martyred soldier, aged 26, was a resident of Mansehra. The ISPR further said that an area clearance operation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
Earlier on October 18, a soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred when terrorists fired on a security forces’ post in Spinwam, North Waziristan district of KP, the military said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged with the terrorist’s location. Sepoy Saifullah was martyred during the intense exchange of fire. The ISPR further said that an area clearance operation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
