Soldier of Pakistan Army martyred in Machh attack: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: A soldier of Pakistan Army was martyred and two others sustained wounds in an cowardly terror attack at check-post of security forces in Balochistan, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to army’s public relations wing, terrorists targeted a security check-post in Balochistan’s Machh. Security personnel and the attackers exchanged fire. 

During an exchange of fire, a soldier identified as Irfan embraced martyrdom, the ISPR said adding that two personnel also sustained injuries in the attack.

In a separate attack over the security forces in Balochistan, four security personnel were martyred and two others were injured in an attack on a vehicle of the Frontier Corps in Harnai district of Balochistan.

The Frontier Corps vehicle was targeted in the Safar Bash area of Khosat area. The outlawed Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack.

The paramilitary patrolling in the areas when their vehicle and when their vehicle was targetted with an improvised explosive device. As a result, four security personnel were martyred in the attack.

Security forces rushed to the scene of the attack and shifted the bodies and the injured to the nearby hospital. They were identified as Hussain Rehmat, Muh­ammad Saleem, Majid Fareed and Zakir. The injured were Captain Owais and Lieutenant Luqman.
