KARACHI: The district police today (Friday) have arrested six suspects for their alleged involvement in gang-raping and abducting of women in Karachi, according to a police spokesperson.
According to details, Orangi Town and Manghopir police conducted separate operations and arrested six accused involved in the heinous crime, while three of their accomplices are still at large.
A police spokesperson has informed that the arrested accused were involved in several rape cases. “We have arrested the prime accused, identified as Danish, while raids are being carried out to arrest the remaining suspects,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Defence police have also arrested three men in connection with the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl. The 16-year-old girl went to her college in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on February 9 but didn’t return home.
