KARACHI: People across Sindh and abroad are celebrating Sindh Culture Day today with zeal and zest, holding cultural events, government, and non-government organizations organized seminars, rallies and conferences to highlight the centuries-old culture of Sindh valley.
Foreign dignitaries as well as renowned personalities have posted their felicitation messages on Sindh Culture Day.
Sindh is a land of rich culture & history. The people of Sindh have created an inclusive & tolerant society.

In his message, UAE Ambassador in Islamabad said “Sindh has a diverse and cohesive culture, it’s people have formed a comprehensive, peace-loving and tolerant society..UAE wishes prosperity, peace and happiness to brotherly people of Sindh & Pakistan.”

Several seminars and programmes have been organized in Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities of the province.
The rallies and functions have been planned to celebrate “Culture Day” while musical programs will also be arranged to mesmerize the general public.
A stage has also been set up outside the Hyderabad press club to celebrate Cultural Day.
Former president of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari, while congratulating Sindh on celebrating the Sindhi Culture Day falling on December 04 (Sunday), Saturday said that conscious and civilized nations never forget their culture, civilization and language.
“The founder of the Pakistan Peoples Party Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto established the Ministry of Culture to highlight the importance of various cultures of Pakistan,” he added.
Asif Ali Zardari said that Sindh had always kept its history and culture revered.
In a statement released the other day, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Chaudhry Nizamuddin Arain said people of Hyderabad would celebrate Sindhi Culture Day with passion and enthusiasm. He said that the history of Sindh, along with its ancient history, was characterised by bravery, chivalry and hospitality. “The people of Sindh always extended hospitality to others and even today their hospitality is famous all over the world,”
