The Sindh government has made an announcement to recruit 4,400 new employees for schools in the province during the next financial year.
The move is included in the province’s 2025-26 budget and will help to fill the vacant posts of teachers and support staff in schools.
The new posts will include several different jobs and are anticipated to enhance the operational ability of schools of all types. The action aims to enhance educational performance and provide schools with sufficient staff to support the needs of pupils.
This hiring push is just one of several new initiatives in Sindh‘s Rs. 523.73 billion education budget, which also includes higher spending on primary and secondary education and the opening of new community colleges.
The government states these measures are part of an expanded plan to improve the quality and availability of education across the province.
