SHO accused of supporting land grabbers in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Royal Residencia owner and area people have alleged the Nellore police station SHO supporting land grabbers in Islamabad.

While addressing a protest in Islamabad Press Club today, Aurangzeb Khan, the owner of the Royal Residency, claimed that the police officer is also supporting and helping land grabbers and fake cases are being registered against those who are raising their voices against him.

Aurangzeb said SHO Nellore Abdul Sattar Baig has been allegedly receiving extortion from the residents of the Royal Residency. He said that the SHO Housing Society of Nellore Police Station in the federal capital has become a party in the dispute and a false case has been registered against one party.

The protestors said, “The previous record of the said SHO is criminal due to which the people of the area have become insecure and their property was occupied by lands gabbers”.

Sources also said that SHO Nellore was supporting an organized gang to loot citizens, adding that Sattar was recently arrested on a tip-off from an SP of the federal police.

The residents appealed IGP Islamabad to immediately order inquire into the case from an impartial and honest officer and dismiss the false and baseless case registered against them.
