KARACHI: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has appointed Sindh minister for population welfare Shehla Raza as general manager of its provincial women wing.
Shehla Raza called on PHF president Brig (retd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and secretary Asif Bajwa. Sindh Hockey Association (SHA) secretary Ramzan Jamali, Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) secretary Haider Hussain, and former Pakistan captain Hanif Khan were also present on the occasion.
PHF President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar said Shehla Raza has worked for the promotion of women sports. He said the Sindh government has focused on the development of national sport hockey.
The decision was taken in the meeting keeping in mind the progress and development of the national game in Sindh among women. PHF President’s wife congratulated Shehla Raza on being appointed as the general manager of PHF’s Sindh women wing.
