LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has claimed that there are differences between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
While addressing media in Lahore, Sheikh Rasheed maintained that Shehbaz Sharif does not get along with his niece Maryam Nawaz.
“Exactly opposite of what Shehbaz Sharif thought has happened following his arrival in Pakistan. He is not on good terms with his niece as she wants to make Shahid Khaqan Abbasi the Prime Minister,” the minister said.
Upon being asked about the resumption of the train operation, the railway minister said that the decision to resume railway operations will be taken in the upcoming month.
“Decision regarding lockdown and railways operations will be taken on 10th May,” he further said by adding “The trains will be made operational within 24 hours if the lockdown is lifted.”
Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not spare those involved in creating a wheat and sugar crisis in the country. “There will be action against any minister, including me if he is found guilty in creating the wheat and sugar crisis,” he said.
Referring to the difference between the opposition and the federal government, he said, “It is not the right time for politics and everyone should unite in the bigger interest of people.”
