Sindh High Court suspended the permit of a controversial festival called Scrap Fest, which was scheduled to take place today in Karachi.
Reportedly, a petition was filed by some residents against the fest, which was scheduled to take place today in the Clifton area. According to the plea, such a festival is against the constitution as it will promote immoral activities in society.
An LGBTQ-based festival named Scrapfest was being held in Karachi. Scrapfest is a Canada-origin LGBTQ event which was being hosted by Canadian-Pakistani musician Urvah Khan. As to social media users, the event was very openly promoting the LGBTQ agenda.
