ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have termed the scuffle in the National Assembly as shameful at the international level.
According to details, the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif addressed the National Assembly House. Later talking to the media, Shahbaz Sharif claimed that everything in the House happened on the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Calling the commotion in the National Assembly ‘shameful’, Sharif said the words members used were abusive. “If our speech is heard in peace, then we will also hear the speech in the House in peace,” he maintained. PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif threatened PM Imran Khan and said that if Khan came to the National Assembly, he should not expect anything better from us (opposition).
On the other hand, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that rioting in the National Assembly was a cause of embarrassment at the international level. Yet again, another session of the National Assembly was also adjourned to discuss the budget.
It may be recalled that earlier, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, in response to the commotion and abusive remarks in the National Assembly, banned the entry of seven members of the Assembly, two of whom apologized.
