KARACHI: Chairman of Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) Mohsin Shaikhani has questioned were we terrorists that police baton-charged?
While addressing a press conference along with FPCCI officials, Chairman ABAD said that will anyone ask the institutions which actually allot the land as the entire building was not constructed in a day.
He said that issue of Nasla Tower is the problem of Karachi and warned that the sense of deprivation is increasing in the port city.
Mohsin Shaikhani said that Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of Sindh should be responsible and urged them to sit with them and collectively take steps for betterment of Karachi.

Chairman ABAD asked government that if it cannot run institutions properly than they should be privatized.
Earlier, the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) had announced to halt all construction projects in Karachi amid uncertainty over the future of the housing schemes after the demolition of Nasla Tower.
The ABAD issued a statement and put front-page advertisements in Friday’s newspapers to announce the shutdown. ABAD Chairman Mohsin Sheikhani said buildings were declared illegal despite the fact that all the relevant documents and NOCs were duly obtained from government agencies. He said builders were worried that their buildings could be demolished in the future.
