TEXAS: Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmad has met Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, who had been imprisoned in the US jail.
Dr. Aafia is imprisoned in FMC Carswell, an American prison located in Fort Worth, Texas. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and human rights lawyer Clive Stafford Smith were also present at the second meeting. Mushtaq Khan described the meeting with Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in a tweet.

He wrote that he met with Dr. Aafia for three hours, the conversation was fully recorded, Aafia Siddiqui’s health was weak, and tears were coming to her eyes again and again.
According to Senator Mushtaq Khan, in the meeting, Dr. Aafia was saying repeatedly to take her out of jail, and at the end of the meeting, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was taken away in chains. The senator said that the key to Dr. Aafia’s release lies in Islamabad and not in Washington. “The rulers should release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui,” he said.
