ISLAMABAD: A 50-point agenda meeting of the Senate will be held in the federal capital today at 3 pm.
As per the details, the Senate session will be held today with a 50-point agenda. Apart from various bills, movements and resolutions of political and national importance will be presented in the Senate session.
The Access to Information Bill and the PEMRA Amendment Bill will be introduced in today’s Senate session. The Women’s University Islamabad Bill and a bill to further amend the criminal law will also be introduced.

The 50-point agenda of the Senate session includes a bill to further amend the Pakistan Arms, a bill to further amend the Pakistan Penal Code and a bill to further amend the PEP (Pakistan Environmental Protection), and a bill to further amend the National Highway Safety will also be discussed.
The meeting will focus on the Pak-Afghan border and drug addicts. The resolution on blasphemy against the prophets on social media is also part of the agenda of the Senate session.
