Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Bagh area of Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the operation, their own forces effectively searched the hideout of the terrorists, as a result of which four of them, including two ringleaders Azizur Rehman alias Qari Ismail and Mukhlis, were killed while two others were injured.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists, who were involved in several terrorist acts against security forces in the area as well as killing innocent civilians.
A clearance operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Earlier, security forces killed an Afghan national involved in terrorism inside Pakistan in Sambaza area of Zhob District, Balochistan.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said he was killed on 11 January 2025. The individual was identified as Muhammad Khan Ahmedkhel, son of Haji Qasim Dawran Khan, resident of Village Bilorai, district Wazekhwa, Paktika Province, Afghanistan.
His body was handed over to the IAG authorities on January 20 after necessary formalities.
