QUETTA: Security forces have continued intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan under Operation Azm, killing a total of 13 terrorists in a series of successful actions.
Security sources said troops carried out a successful operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, where several terrorists were neutralised, raising the total number of militants killed during the ongoing operation to 13.
According to security sources, multiple hideouts belonging to the Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorist network were destroyed during the operation.
The operation also resulted in the recovery of a cache of weapons, explosives, and materials used for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), sources said, adding that several terrorists affiliated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan were also reported to have been injured during the operation.
According to security sources, intelligence-based operations will continue across Balochistan until terrorism is eliminated and lasting peace and stability are restored in the province.
