Security bail granted to Bushra Bibi in Al-Qadir Trust case

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has approved the protective bail of former prime minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

According to the details, a hearing was held in the LHC on the protection bail request of the former prime minister’s wife. The court accepted Bushra Bibi’s bail application.

The court has approved the protective bail of Bushra Bibi till May 23. On this occasion, the honourable judge also expressed his displeasure at the non-appearance of the former first lady. The lawyer informed the court about Bushra Bibi’s reservations.

The lawyer said that Bushra Bibi could not appear in the High Court due to security reasons. At the request of the lawyer, the court granted the time of appearance till 2:15 pm.

Justice Shahbaz Rizvi said that the bail application will be rejected at 2:16 p.m. Ten minutes after the time given by the court, Bushra Bibi appeared in the court along with Imran Khan.

During the hearing, a fence of white cloth was made around the former first lady in the courtroom. Justice Shahbaz Rizvi said that the petitioner should have appeared at the given time. Later, the court accepted the bail application.
