ISLAMABAD: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud called Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday to assure him about Saudi Arab’s complete assistance over Kashmir matter.
The Saudi Minister telephoned o FM Qureshi for a growing frustration over Riyadh’s refusal to join the meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries to establish a common position on India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and its related high-handed strategies.

Including a wide security shutdown and a network blockade in the valley to stop the movement of people from agitating. The shutdown, which is now its 188th day, has triggered a humanitarian problem in the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Foreign Office said, “The Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, has made a telephone call to Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to assure him Saudi Arabs full support over Kashmir issue.”
