RAWALPINDI: Deputy Defence Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters today (Monday).
According to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), During the meeting, matters pertaining to mutual interest including defence, security cooperation, and regional security situation came under discussion.
ISPR press release said that views on situation of the Indian occupied Kashmir were also exchanged.
The Deputy Defence Minister acknowledged professionalism of Pakistan Army and thanked for the assistance provided, especially towards training of Royal Saudi Armed Forces both at Pakistan as well as at Saudi Arabia through bilateral training cooperation.
Prince Khalid Bin Salman vowed to extend full support to Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.
COAS Bajwa thanked Prince Khalid Bin Salman for acknowledging Pakistan Army’s achievements in war against terrorism, sacrifices and contribution for regional peace and stability.
Earlier, upon arrival at GHQ, Prince Khalid Bin Salman was presented Guard of Honour.
