In a significant move, the Haramain Sharifain administration has announced that pilgrims can now offer Nawafil (optional prayers) in Riyaz ul Jannah throughout the year, breaking with the previous rule that permitted such prayers only once annually.
This new policy aims to enhance the spiritual experience for visitors to Masjid al-Nabawi, making it easier for them to perform additional prayers at the revered location. However, the requirement to obtain a permit through the Nusuk mobile application remains unchanged.
According to updates shared by the administration via their social media channels, visitors can now generate a new prayer permit every 20 minutes using the Nusuk app, offering greater flexibility in scheduling their visits. This adjustment will particularly benefit visitors who are already at Masjid al-Nabawi, allowing them to more easily plan and obtain permits for offering Nawafil prayers in Riyaz ul Jannah under the updated guidelines.
The change is expected to provide visitors with more opportunities to engage in worship and reflect in one of the most sacred areas of the mosque.
