ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) announced on Wednesday that it has distributed 9,000 shelters and non-food items to flood-affected families in Pakistan’s two western provinces, addressing the urgent needs of those impacted by recent rains.
These relief kits, which include shelters, solar panels, blankets, plastic mats, kitchen sets, water coolers, and antibacterial soap, have provided essential support to 63,000 individuals. This aid has been crucial during this critical time, offering vital assistance to the flood victims.
The relief efforts have directly benefited people in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Upper Dir, Lower Chitral, Swat, Charsadda, and D.I. Khan) and three districts of Balochistan (Chaghi, Gwadar, and Pishin).
This initiative was executed in close collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the respective provincial governments of KP and Balochistan, with the support of the Hayat Foundation.
