ISLAMABAD: Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced to take action against foreigners residing illegally in the country after November 1.
According to the details, the caretaker interior minister said in a statement, “We have finalized the plan against illegal immigrants, centers have been established in different cities where immigrants can live.”
In the statement, the caretaker interior minister said that illegal immigrants would not be compromised after November 1, while illegal immigrants would not be able to carry more than 50,000 rupees in cash. Those harboring them will be dealt with severely, he said.
Caretaker Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said, “Geo-fencing of illegal foreigners has been done, we have complete information. We also know which village or city the illegal immigrants are currently in to which they have to go voluntarily.”
Sarfraz Bugti said that the government would encourage the emigrants to return home voluntarily. Our campaign is against illegal immigrants. “We have no problem with those who come to Pakistan in the legal sphere. Pakistan is a hospitable nation,” he added.
He said that the political leadership is facing threats, and the time will come when not a single illegal foreigner will remain in Pakistan. It has become impossible to smuggle dollars from Pakistan. There is no entry in any country of the world without documents, why should it be in Pakistan?
